Dear Readers,

I'm sorry my newsletter hasn't released for a couple of months now. Things have been so crazy/busy on this end that I haven't had time to gather together the material needed for future issues. (I'm working on it!)

At any rate, I'm in the process of moving so please don't expect very many updates for a couple more months. I'm aiming to get a newsletter out in time for December.

07/01/06: Jaid underwent surgery last week to have her gall bladder removed and is currently recovering in her Florida home. The Queen of Steam is reportedly up and walking around and expects to return to work Monday. Heal quickly, Jaid!

01/19/06: Jaid has canceled her appearance at BEA 2006 due to time constraints and manuscript deadlines, but EC staff, the EC tour bus, and a few EC authors will still be there if you want to pop by the booth and get some fabulous promotional freebies! 

01/15/06: The 10 writers of Forbidden Fantasies, EC's first hardcover, have mutually agreed to push the release date of the book back to 2007 for marketing purposes. As of this writing, jaidblack.com does not have a month of release yet. Details will be posted as we are made aware of them.
