11/17/05: Berkley/Jove just announced that in addition to Jaid's new upcoming release, Strictly Taboo, they will also be reissuing One Dark Night in trade paperback. (One Dark Night is currently only available in mass market paperback.) Both books release on December 6, 2005. Reserve your copies today!

11/16/05: Jaid has been booked for one final appearance in 2005. She's heading back to the Borders in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on December 21, the Winter Solstice, from 7-9 pm EST. Jaid will be signing copies of Ellora's Cavemen: Legendary Tails IV on the day of its release! She will be accompanied by Bobby, the caveman on the cover, and bestselling author, Marly Chance, who contributed to the anthology! If you missed Jaid in 2005, you can still catch her in 2006. 11/14/05: This email just in from Jaid: "Hi guys. Thanks for keeping the site looking great! I just got back from Detroit, did 4 signings in 2 days. It was tiring, but rewarding too. My kids had a blast being 'on tour' with me. Mostly they just stayed in the tour bus and played Uno with John, EC's driver, but they enjoyed it. Anyway, glad to be back home. Oh and take a look at the attached photo... I'm on my first marquee!"

11/5/05: Jaid lost her beloved grandfather today after a decade long battle with lung disease. He will be laid to rest on November 8, 2005 next to his wife. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jaid and her family.

11/3/05: Ellora's Cave recently announced the launch of their first hardcover book: Forbidden Fantasies. Featuring 10 stories from 10 of EC's steamiest erotic romance authors, the special anthology debuts on Halloween (October 31st) 2006! 9/16/05: Dressed in her trademark head-to-toe black, Jaid married her longtime love early this afternoon! It was a small, private, somewhat spontaneous wedding, marked with lots of smiles and happy tears. The groom's father stood strong, despite a weakened condition from his battle against brain and lung cancer, and officiated the long overdue ceremony. Congratulations Jaid and Dave!

8/20/05: Jaid joined fellow EC authors Sherri L. King, Rhyannon Byrd, Tawny Taylor, Madeleine Oh, Dominique Adair (a.k.a. JC Wilder), Diana Hunter, Ann Vremont, Anya Bast, & Gail Faulkner for EC's yearly book signing at the Borders in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Also present were most of the Ellora's cavemen featured in the upcoming 2006 calendar. The authors and models signed a lot of books and book covers, posed for a lot of pictures and gave away free copies of Lady Jaided magazine! The event was covered live by WNIR and "Talk of Akron" radio DJ Stan Piatt.

8/12/05: Jaid, along with fellow EC writer Madeleine Oh, were today's guests on Your Turn, a live TV show in the Tampa Bay area that airs every weekday from 12:30-1 PM on Fox 13.

7/14/05: Jaid appeared on the Montel Williams show today. If you missed the first airing, make sure you catch the rerun!
