I'm over the moon with relief! I got the results of my pulmonary function test back and I was either (a) misdiagnosed as having emphysema or (b) given another chance by God to act right or (c) all of the above. Whether A, B, or C, I am (obviously!) ecstatic!!

I want to thank everyone for the countless notes of encouragement on Facebook & Twitter. I also want to thank everyone who prayed for me because I believe you are the cause of this wonderful news!

I haven't totally beaten my cigarette addiction yet, but I've cut down significantly and am aiming to be smoke-free by Thanksgiving. Quitting has been (hands down) the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Giving up smoking is like giving up my best friend... albeit an abusive, sadistic best friend who needs kicked to the curb.

Keep the prayers coming! I need them :-)
